Minas Gerais is Brazil’s coffee powerhouse, producing over half of the country’s beans and setting the global standard for quality. Within it lies Sul de Minas Gerais, the world’s largest coffee region, where volcanic soil, high altitudes, and a perfect climate craft exceptional Arabica beans with rich chocolate and citrus notes. As someone born in Sul de Minas, I founded SAFRA to share this legacy. We partner with local farmers, to bring these premium green beans to Australia’s home and professional roasters.
